Each VRS coil has additional turns at the top which conform to your individual shape for greater pressure relieving comfort. Nestled between the VRS springs are smaller Active coils. These are spread throughout the support system to provide additional support where your body needs it.

Every Reflex spring system is surrounded by a high-density foam encasing. This ensures a larger sleep surface and strong edge support.

The foams in A.H. Beard mattresses, named Evofoam, are made using the world’s most advanced foam-making process, Variable Pressure Foam (VPF) technology. VPF foams are made in a totally enclosed chamber, preventing the escape of emissions into the environment. With no harmful chemical additives or emissions, Evofoams are cleaner, healthier, and environmentally friendly. 

Memory foam is a pressure relieving comfort foam which moulds to the shape of the body when you lie down. It’s called memory foam because it remembers its original shape – when you get up, it slowly returns to how it was before. Gel beads are infused into this foam to maximize temperature regulation, delivering a cooler feel than standard memory foams.

Latex is extracted from rubber trees and processed to make the latex foam used in the bedding industry. It is natural, durable, highly resilient, non-toxic, non-allergenic, anti-bacterial and resistant to dust mites. Latex foams are both supportive and pressure relieving and available in various comfort feels. Gel beads are infused into this latex to maximize temperature regulation, delivering a cooler feel than standard latex.

Aerocomfort is a collection of four different components used in the top layers (quilting layers), of A.H. Beard’s mattresses. They are designed to give additional breathability and provide yet more gentle comfort. In the Mona Lisa Firm, you’ll find three Aerocomfort technologies:
· AeroWeb - A three-dimensional fibre layer which creates a space between the comfort layers and quilting layers of the mattress for breathability and airflow. 
· AeroFoam (by Evofoam) - A comfort foam, perforated for additional breathability.
· Aeroquilt (by Evofoam) - An open cell quilting foam, engineered to promote breathability and airflow.

Outlast is a temperature regulating technology developed by NASA. It was applied to astronaut’s suits and gloves to provide better protection against the bitter cold and scorching heat encountered in space. As a quilting layer in a mattress, Outlast Technology absorbs excess heat and releases it as your body cools to give a more comfortable sleep.
